The 15 most popular employee perks

A recent article appearing in "Employee Benefit News" made for some interesting reading. A poll of 1,227 working adults from benefits provider Unum, found that the most desired perks for employees have to do with flexible work options and absence management, rather than things like onsite gyms and pet-friendly offices.


Offering the survey-takers 15 different non-insurance or retirement-related benefits, the company asked them to choose their top five options. Coming in at number one, not surprisingly, was paid family leave garnering the top spot in 58% of respondents answers, but closely followed by remote/flexible working options.
